The word Gaia means “mother earth” and she continues to give life and sustenance to all things, all year round.

Gaia shop provides natural fair trade products, helping to promote wellbeing all year round for all ages.

Gaia shop works closely with the therapists at the Well Being Clinic, who provide a wide range of holistic, natural and alternative/complementary therapies.

Simply come to absorb Gaia’s atmosphere, relax and allow our Burr Elm chairs (designed by Bill Hadfield, used by Endamol – Channel 4 Interior Designers) to envelop you and work their natural magic! Tap into the energies emitted by wood, crystals, water & light (candles)

Thank Woody’s it’s Friday! Our new weekly ‘Terrific Tea Club’ is launched on Friday 20th June.

Bring the children for a high tea treat of a seasonal, locally produced and homemade meal with plenty of fun thrown in! It will take place every Friday and all starts from 4.15pm with tea served at 5.15pm.

Just how much fun can we pack in?? To start with collect your bowl and pick your own fruity pudding, not forgetting to say hello to the pigs, ducks, chickens and rabbit. Come back inside for a tasty homemade meal and a drink before you savour the flavour of your hand picked pud! Then why not finish off with a gallop around the play equipment. (This is the point that mums or dads get to drink that well deserved cup of tea in peace.)

Our menu will change weekly but will always include a sausage dish made from our own home-reared porkers and a seasonal fresh vegetable pasta dish. Booking will be essential – please phone Woodys direct on 01672 852114. Price per child’s meal, to include a drink and balloon £5.95.

What better way to celebrate the end of the week!

Saturday 21st June, 5pm -8pm

A sparkling occasion of champagne, music and strawberries is promised by the Marlborough Brandt Group Master's House, Marlborough College

email info@mbg.org
telephone (01672) 861116
web www.mbg.org

The auction, which is the charitys main fundraiser of this year, will be accompanied by jazz music and Gambian drumming. Guests will be able to walk around the lovely gardens of the Master's Lodge, and play on the two croquet lawns which will be specially set up for people to use. Since 1981 the Marlborough Brandt Group has pursued its belief that increasing contact between industrialised nations and the developing world is the only sure way to bring justice and peace to the world. But, says Hilary, funding for its work is dependent on public generosity. So please, put the date in your diary and come along for a lovely afternoon out, and bring some friends too. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children. They are available from the Oxfam bookshop in Marlborough High Street and from the MBG office Please call (01672) 861116 to buy some.

You can view all the lots on the website www.mbg.org
